Nikki + Eddy's Wedding Invites

Nikki and Eddy came to me a few months for their wedding invitations. They weren't sure what they wanted but they wanted to tie in the following elements: their first date (where Eddy took Nikki high in the sky, flying over the Miami skyline!), their outdoor wedding under the stars and their colors -- baby blue, silver and white.

The final product has a clouds in the sky/shining star design that they absolutely fell in love with! The wedding is coming up soon so CONGRATULATIONS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!!

Jackie + AJ, K-I-S-S-I-N-G? ...that's okay, they're getting married!

You may remember these two from the Twister-themed invitations... Here are their Save the Dates! She is a 3rd grade teacher so we thought it would only be right that we had them both in their 3rd grade class pictures.

These STDs were custom-designed and printed on glossy finish 4" by 5" cards. Can't wait for next year!

Lilyana's 1st Birthday!

A baby's first birthday should be celebrated in a BIG way! What bigger way than having a bee-themed birthday party for 100+ guests? Here are some custom made invites that I made for Lilyana's "BEE-day". Her mom and grandma had something very specific in mind and I was able to get every detail they wanted just right ...down to the adorable face!

Jackie + AJ's GAME NIGHT Engagement Party!

Jackie and AJ wanted something totally different for their enagagement party. They wanted a fun night with their bridal party in an intimate setting. They didn't want a "big deal" party... just a simple game night.

Here are the invitations we came up with for this get-together! (No, they didn't play twister at the actual party but good times were had by all!)

{Sidenote: Yes, that does say "adult games preferred welcomed." ...Told you they were fun.}

Get CANDIED away!

This weekend was Melissa's bridal shower! I've known her since high school and when she came to me for her candy buffet signs I couldn't be more excited. I knew this would be trendy, full of animal prints and very COLORFUL... My fav combo!

We came up with cute sayings to label the candy and used the zebra print and colors along with pictures of heels to bring the theme together. It looked amazing!

She had M&Ms (Mr. + Mrs.), chocolate-covered pretzels (Tie the KNOT!), gummy bears (BEARY much in love), bubble gum (BUBBLELICIOUS bride), mints (MINT to be) and sour rings (Put a RING on it!)... and then we made labels for the take out boxes with her name and the date. The whole buffet was enough to make anyone get "CANDIED" away! Congrats on your beautiful shower, Mel!!!

This month I was able to help out a friend with a couple of signs for her candy buffet business! Her name is Barbie and her business is called Creatively Sweet. She provides all sorts of beautiful candy station jars for weddings, parties, showers, etc. She needed a couple of fun signs for her upcoming events and I gave her colorful! Check it out...

Chesi + MD are getting married!

These two are the cutest couple! As soon as they both sat with me and told me a bit about themselves and their wedding theme we were able to come up with something really special. They are having a daytime wedding in one of Miami’s most beautiful spots overlooking the water, the Rusty Pelican. They are not big on the “traditional” thing and wanted something more relaxed -- as long as it had to do with the beach/water. This was the result of it! Congrats to Chesi and MD! I wish you both the best!

My wedding invitations!

My WEDDING!

Obviously I’m a very PICKY person when it comes to paper goods. After countless searches for the perfect invite for my big day nothing seemed to match up with the idea in my head. I wanted the perfect mix of plum, pewter, silver and white… rhinestones…ribbon… and of course, our monogram mixed in… perfection, right? Exactly. So, this is what I came up with for me and the hubby!

Printed white cards on two layers of pearlized matting (pewter and silver) placed in a plum linen folding card. The RSVP envelope was pewter and together with it, the reception card and the RSVP card were held by a plum ribbon with a rhinestone embellishment. The outer envelopes were pearl white with lighter plum colored liners and as a stunning final touch-- handwritten calligraphy in a custom mixed plum ink and silver wax seals!

These invites were the reason I began Le Petit Papier. It was so difficult to find affordable paper goods that had everything I envisioned. I wanted to provide the opportunity to brides {and everyone looking for any kind of paper goods} to see their visions come to life as well!
