Meagan & Ramsy’s Rustic Ranch Wedding Invites
I love a chance to do something that I haven’t done
before. Weddings are usually very formal, the colors are mostly toned down and
the cardstocks used are fancy. These elegant invitations are beautiful but
sometimes as a designer you want MORE. Meagan and Ramsy allowed me the
opportunity to dream up a “DIFFERENT” wedding invitation. This charming couple
is having an outdoor wedding on a horse ranch. They are laid back and fun and a
little crazy because they allowed me total creative freedom! The rule? It had
to be printed on kraft paper.
No problem.
Can I use funky fonts?
Yes.
Can I play with the positioning of the text?
Yup.
Fun wording?
You know it.

Little Golden Books themed Baby Shower
Little Golden Books take me back to childhood… Those
little books were a staple in every kid’s library! Take a look at what Mommy to
be Sandy is doing for her baby shower. She is welcoming baby Annelise to a
world of reading with her themed shower! Everyone is invited to bring a book
for the baby to begin her collection. I love this theme because it’s so
original and because reading is actually one of my fav things to do when I’m
not crafting. Check out the invites…

A Butterfly Baby Shower for Little Lucia
Mommy to be Dorgis {remember her from Nautical babyshower for Matteo?} wanted something wonderfully girly for her second baby
shower. We invited all the guests to the
shower with these handmade felt diaper invitations. Notice the little butterfly
in the corner? Mommy loves butterflies and wanted them to be incorporated into
the décor. The menus for the event were made to match the invites, in pink and
purple with tiny butterflies as well. The shower was a beautiful success!
