Luly's Nautical Baby Shower

For Luly we had made the nautical shower invites (Luly's Baby Shower) and it didn't end there! For the actual shower we needed menus and of course they needed to match! So... here goes!

Luly's Baby Shower!

Sometimes even the most creative people need a little break from designing! For my cousin's baby shower {Nautical boy theme!} we went with a purchased design and I printed and assembled the invites on a navy cardstock mat. They came out adorable and I wanted to share with all of you!

Dorgis is having a baby BOY!

Nautical theme is very popular these days...that's why when Dorgis' mother-in-law came to me to help her plan the baby shower for the new addition to the family, she had an idea in mind. She had seen a previous blog of mine where we did a sailboat invite on felt... {AHOY! Jessica & Daniel are having a BOY!} and she wanted something similar with cardstock.

She also wanted to do favor tags, menus, and a sign in book with a themed look -- see more below. I was able to do all of this for her and this was the result!

Note: The location for this shower was at La Carreta Restaurant in Hialeah, Florida and the cake was done by Divine Delicacies in Miami, Florida. The flower centerpieces, favors, menus, sign in book and striped linen runners were all done by me.

AHOY! Jessica and Daniel are having a BOY!

For Jessica's baby shower she wanted a nautical theme and had a very specific idea. She wanted sailboats on a felt "ocean" to match her cake topper and favors. I think we captured it just right!

These sailboats are made up of different cardstock, attached to a hand-cut felt piece and adorned with a little red felt flag. They fit into a standard 5" by 7" envelope. Love these invites! Congrats to Jessica and Daniel on their new baby!
