Anthony’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 1st Birthday!
I’ll come out with it… I’m a bit in love with a Mouse.
Mickey Mouse! When Mommy Luly came to me and said that Anthony’s 1st
birthday would be Mickey themed I was immediately THRILLED! Yellow, red and
black would be the colors. No problem! I took a black Mickey head cutout, added
the signature “little red shorts” pocket to the front {complete with real white
buttons!} and tucked inside the pocket was a circular card with the party info.
Finished off with bright yellow envelopes, these invites brightened all the
guests’ mailboxes! Happy 1st birthday to Anthony!

A Rustic Royal Affair {A Tangled Inspired 4th Birthday} for Emily
I LOVE children’s birthday parties because they give me a
chance to go wild! When Ashley of Sole Luxe Events met with me to plan Emily’s
4th birthday I couldn’t wait to get started! We were planning a Rapunzel/Tangled
inspired birthday but with a TWIST.
Ashley is famous for her “twists”… she came up with “A Rustic Royal Affair”. This event was truly something else… so much so that Hostess with the Mostess blogged about it!
Here are the invites!
Ashley is famous for her “twists”… she came up with “A Rustic Royal Affair”. This event was truly something else… so much so that Hostess with the Mostess blogged about it!
As told by Ashley on HWTM’s blog: “As invitations are the
very first thing guests see, I wanted them to be royal but with a rustic feel.
Monica of Le Petit Papier helped me create just that with our scroll invite on
an antique designed kraft paper tied with a yellow Rapunzel braid with two
little purple bows at the end. SO cute & royal!”
Here are the invites!
The dessert station for the party was the centerpiece of
the event, complete with purple glittery tent cards with miniature braids to
match the invites and to stay in theme. It was most definitely a “royal rustic
affair” fit for a Princess!

Jessica's DOBLE QUINCE!
A girl only turns fifteen … twice? This quinceaƱera was actually a DOUBLE quinceaƱera as she was celebrating her 30th birthday. Twice the number, twice the fun. Hispanic tradition means your daughter gets a huge party when she turns 15… Jessica took this tradition a step further and re-created the quinces she longed for. The party was like a time machine back to the days of Miami banquet halls and videographers toting VHS camcorders on their shoulders. The invitations had to be a legitimate representation of this tradition and so of course, we made them fully in Spanish. Everyone had a BLAST at the “doble quinces”… Felicidades Jessica!

Jeanette and Adrian are tying the knot!
Antique lace and ivory
ribbon is something that all brides are very much into… Based on my invites for
Stephanie & Alex {if you haven’t seen these letterpress beauties please do
yourself a favor and check them out} Jeanette and Adrian’s wedding invitations
are every bit as beautiful. We kept them light and elegant with matte and
pearlized ivory cardstock and just a touch of antique gold matting.
